Pilot

Hey there. I was just wondering if you can still become a successful pilot even with just doing the Commercial program and getting your diploma instead of a degree and still get hired Into major companies?

Parjeet,

I don’t exactly know what you mean by “Commercial program.” Can you
elaborate? Maybe you’re referring to a commercial pilot license? If so, are
you wondering if it’s possible to not become a CFI and still be able to fly
for a major airline someday? Again, I need you to clarify.

Success is based on one’s goals. So, it really boils down to what kind of
flying you want to do. Since your question is in reference to major
airlines, then I would say “No.” Major airlines most certainly require a 4
year degree of some sort. Exceptions to this requirement can be made, but
typically only pilots that have flown in some branch of the military get
hired without degrees.
