I know its a fast paced program, but I was wondering if you have time off for major holidays since its a school and not at the airline?

Yes. If I remember correctly, ATP acknowledges Thanksgiving, Christmas, and
Independence Day. Needing any additional days off requires a request to be
made to the Flight Ops department.
