Parking tickets and traffic ticket

I’ve gotten pulled over before and had some parking tickets. Will these be a problem?

James,

None of the mentors on here can give a difinitive answer on questions like
that. The less frequent and longer it has been since your last ticket the
better. The context matters too. An airline needs to be able to decide if
they can trust who they’re hiring. Whatever your background, that can’t be
a reflection of who you are anymore.

James,

It really depends on the nature of the tickets and how long ago they were. One thing is sure, the more time you can put between yourself and your last ticket the better, so follow the rules.

Chris

James,

“I’ve gotten pulled over” is incredibly vague! You got pulled over because you had a brake light out and were given a warning is a far cry from you got pulled over for reckless driving/speeding over 100mph, then resisted and they found a kilo of cocaine in your car. That said there are many factors but the strongest are the severity and time since you last offense.

It was for looking for directions at a traffic light on my phone while we were stopped in traffic

I think you’ll be fine unless the interviewer suffers from road rage.

Adam

James,

I would not worry about that one bit.

Chris

Thank you both
