Hey everyone, I am currently doing my PPL and my instructor was wanting to know what type of physical is required for ATP. I am sure it is listed on the site or forum but just thought I would ask here.

ATP requires a First Class medical for all students. Now obviously a First Class is not required to receive instruction so why? Because ATP doesn’t want anyone to waste their time and money getting licensed only to find there’s an issue and can’t obtain a First Class and will have issues getting hired. Better to find out before hand.

You will need a first class medical to enroll in ATP.
