Is ATP CTP included

Does the ATP Airline Career Pilot program include the ATP CTP?

Jhon,

No it does not nor could it. In order to take the ATP CTP a pilot must satisfy the requirements of the ATP rating not the least of which is 1500hrs of flight time. The good news is the Regional that hires you will include the ATP CTP as part of newhire training.

No. You will need 1,500 hours of flight time to be eligible for the full ATP license. Most of your regional airlines will provide this training for you.

Jhon,

No. That is a separate course, but it is also something that you should not
have to pay for out of pocket if you’re planning on flying for an airline.
Let the Regional Airline pay for it.

That answers my question, I just wasn’t sure if the airlines only hired
pilots that already have their atp in hand which of course you would not
have until you get the Ctp done prior to testing.
