Hello I was just wondering if the USA does any government spocership program for pilot and I was wonder if u have time to give ur story and how u became a pilot in detail like school training,cost,what flight school u went to and how did u get ur dept paid and more

Mohamed,

The only govt sponsored pilot training I’m aware of is the military. Either by joining the military and earning a pilot slot or joining and after using your veteran benefits to pay for it. Other than that you could possibly apply for grants and/or loans but I believe that’s the extent of the govt’s help.

As for me if you click on my name you can read my bio which will give you the whole story. In short flying was a second career for me. I actually didn’t pursue it until I was almost 40. I did my training with ATP and paid for it with loans I eventually paid off after I was hired by an airline.
