Hello, I really want to do this program and am in the process for citizenship but my estimated completion time is 13 months out! is it possible to earn my licenses and become and airline pilot as a legal resident or at least a flight instructor in any way? I appreciate the responses.

To do any flight training in the US without citizenship you’re first required to go through a very thorough background check. After the check you can obtain all your licenses and rating however you cannot work as a pilot (ANY pilot) unless you’re a citizen or have permanent resident status.

thanks for your response, ive a clean record and have lived in the us as a legal permanent resident for 18 years, once i go through tsa, is it possible to attend ATP and flight instruct until my citizenship pulls through?
