Hi everyone, so a couple years ago i made the mistake of sounding suicidal through text messages. This caused a person to call the police on me and have me baker acted. From what I’ve read no employer can see a baker act on your record. But they did handcuff me from my house and take me to the nearest hospital. I was out the next morning since im perfectly fine. Will this be a problem when trying to presue a carrer in aviation?

I honestly have no idea? What I can tell you is the FAA takes any psych (or potential psych) issues very seriously. The best advice I can give you is contact a local AME (Aviation Medical Examiner) in your area and have a conversation. They’re the professionals and more important they’re representatives of the FAA and can give you the facts.
